More than just a game
BOTÍN IRELAND is a series of Hybrid Language Learning board games and jigsaws created to make language practice fun.
Totally bilingual, BOTÍN uses video, audio and social game playing to expand the student´s knowledge of the history, geography and the culture of Ireland in an interesting and enjoyable way.
BOTÍN IRELAND is a new Irish games publishing company, creating family-friendly bilingual games with an emphasis on geography, history and Irish culture.
BOTÍN IRELAND has been created to not only be good fun, but also act as a valuable educational tool for use in schools, clubs and within the family.
Each of the 84 playing cards explains one of Ireland´s many cultural sites in both Irish and English.
Teachers remarked that the game helps students learn, not only translating between Gaelic and English, but also had significant benefits in helping players learn about the geography of Ireland; its history and traditions, interesting places of interest and some fun facts to share with friends and family.
